BATON ROUGE, LA: Clayton James Aguillard, RN, BSN, BA, has been named to the position of Chief Executive Officer for the Baton Rouge, Louisiana behavioral health hospital, Seaside Health System. Franklin Roemer, CEO of Seaside Healthcare, announced the selection of Aguillard to the position. Roemer commented, “Clay’s extensive managerial background coupled with nearly two decades of service in the field of behavioral healthcare administration made him a strong candidate for this key leadership position in our company. Aguillard, a resident of Baton Rouge and native of New Orleans, Louisiana served as administrator for several regional behavioral health hospitals in his career as well as serving as president and CEO of a psychiatric consulting firm. His experience includes work in preparation for more than 20 Joint Commission surveys including holding of preparatory mock surveys and post survey compliance implementation. Earlier in his career, Clay also served as vice president of managed contracts and business development with Seaside Healthcare. His career background includes expertise in the field of regulatory compliance and financial goal setting along with strong team building skills and program planning and development. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from William Carey College, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from Loyola University and a minor in Business Administration.
